THE FAST AND THE FURRIEST

01PLOT

Donnie presents his brothers his new invention, moon buggy of Jupiter Jim, that is now a turtle tank. When he opens the curtains, it's not in there. Donnie, distraught, kneels and asks who stole the Turtle Tank.

In New York City streets, the Moon buggy is now the new Turtle Tank. It is revealed that the driver turns out to be none other than...Splinter!

The Turtles go to find answers from April O'Neil and Señor Hueso, but are only successful at getting themselves thrown out back into the alleyway. Donnie then remembers he installed the "Shopping Cart Protocol" - a protocol that programs the tank to stop if it goes beyond a set perimeter - and activates it.

Back with Splinter, the Turtle Tank is stopped by the Shopping Cart Protocol. As Splinter attempts to (pathetically) deactivate the protocol by literally banging around under the hood, he is greeted by Meat Sweats. Believing the rat would be a delicious meal, the mutant pig chef takes him into his food truck. Then moments later, the Turtles arrive and are stunned when they see the Turtle Tank. Moments later, they see their sensei, and Donnie becomes incredibly furious for not realizing it sooner. When they see Splinter with Meat Sweats, the brothers realize that their sensei is in danger, but as they try to approach the food truck, Meat Sweats sees them and tells Splinter, prompting the latter to flee in the food truck with Meat Sweats, knowing that he would be forced to watch unbearable educational shows if he was caught. The ensuing chase is the perfect opportunity for the Turtles to test out their new Turtle Tank.

The turtles are impressed by the new modifications that Donnie put on the Turtle Tank. Meat Sweats tries to use the acid-spitting power of a mutant cobra, but Leo uses his sword's portal to send the acid right back at Meat Sweats, who then ejects the captured mutated animals from their cages, resulting in the turtles screeching to a halt.

Fed up with Splinter and realizing that the rat wasn't worth it, Meat Sweats throws Splinter away. Splinter begs Meat Sweats not to leave him, but he leaves anyway. Splinter is soon confronted by his furious sons.

Enraged at how Splinter stole the Turtle Tank, and put all of them in danger, Donnie angrily orders him to watch several boring educational channels for the next few months, ending the episode.

• The food on Splinter's platter disappears and reappears. In its first shot, all Splinter's platter has is one musubi with egg, one onigiri, and three makizushi before eating one. In the next shot, he has two onigiri before eating them both, two nigirizushi, two shrimp, but no makizushi or musubi with egg. In the third shot, Splinter once again only has one musubi with egg, one onigiri, and three makizushi.

• The episode's title is a reference to the _Fast & Furious_, also known as _The Fast and the Furious_, film series.
• The title is also slightly similar to the 2005 comedy film _Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry_.
• This is the first appearance of the Turtle Tank, which Donnie created from the Jupiter Jim Moon Buggy acquired in "Repo Mantis".
• It is stated by Donnie that the Turtles have known April "for years."
• In-universe, this episode takes place after the events of "Minotaur Maze", as the Turtles have already been to "Run of the Mill Pizza" and previously met Hueso.
• The food Meat Sweats is shown serving Splinter is onigiri, nigirizushi_,_ musubi with egg, shrimp, makizushi, and a bowl of soy sauce.
• On the bookcase near April's door in her apartment is a maneki neko figurine.
